President Bush's Motorcade Involved in Accident

Comments Off

Along a slushy road on Friday, President Bush’s motorcade that was traveling from Washington to the Camp David presidential retreat, was involved in a car accident when it crashed with another car on the Interstate.

Generally, in most cases, President Bush is flown in the Marine One helicopter from the South Lawn of the White House to Camp David near Thurmont, MD. In this case, rainy weather was delayed the flight and the President then left in a motorcade.

A White House spokesperson confirms that the president is fine and his car was not involved in the crash. She further said the White House is trying to get more details as to whether anyone was injured in the accident. Further details are forthcoming.
